Google’s New Farmer/Panda Algorithm Change & How it Effects Content

Recently Google introduced a new algorithm change dubbed the Farmer/Panda update that significantly changed rankings for many content producing websites.  According to many viable SEO sources (i.e. SEOMoz.org, WebProNews.com) there seems to be a direct correlation with article sites that have poorly written user-generated content.  It appears that Google successfully penalized websites that are easy to build backlinks through, in an attempt to dilute less worthy websites from ranking highly in the searches.

It seems that this is a good change for search and good for businesses who hire quality content writers like Content Professional who put a strong emphasis on strong content that is informative and actually useful to its readers.  What this means for your businesses website is that not only should it make strong attempts to produce informational content and consistently publish it on their websites and other meaningful outlets, but also produce content that makes you an authority in your industry.  Content Professional does both of these things for its clients and also syndicates to worthy outlets that establish your articles, press releases, or blogs as rich, well-thought out pieces of information.

If you’re using your website to generate business or want to, quality content is a good start. “Quality content will become even more important in the days ahead, especially if you are looking for long-term results. When you choose a niche, be determined to become an authority on it,” as stated by SEO (search engine optimization) and SEM (search engine marketing) consultant Dan DeRoeck.
